Bilberry extract is a natural substance derived from the bilberry plant, a small shrub that grows in cold regions of the Northern Hemisphere and is also known as cranberry, bilberry, or Eurasian bilberry. The fruit is bright red or orange-red, with a rich sweet and sour taste, and is widely used in food, beverage and health food.
